Annabelle Gurwitch
Annabelle Gurwitch was an American actress, comedian and TV host. Most recognizable for her role as the hostess on Dinner and a Movie (TBS) and environmentalist who was a part of secular humanism as well as environmental concerns. Annabelle Gurwitch has been a highly regarded actress for many years. She's also a the best-selling author of Whatever they're there, I can tell that you put in the effort. When you say tomato, I'm saying shut up and get fired! which was in turn a Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch is well known for her long tenure hosting TBS Dinner & a Movie. She has also appeared in shows like Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown. Her appearances are regularly featured in PBS Newhour Real Time Bill Maher as well as on NPR. She also contributes op eds to The New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter. Acting on stage has earned her a spot on the critics annual Best Ten performances of the year in both The New York and Los Angeles Times. Annabelle offers her insight along with her humorous perspective on the process of aging in our culture that's so focused on youth. She's presented this material to audiences around the globe, including her appearance at the 92nd St Y Prevention Magazine, AARP and Women's Nights.
