Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell (born 25th August, 1949) is an American TV chef personality. She also was a former instructor of the Institute of Culinary Education. Burrell hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef at the Food Network. Anne Burrell, a Food Network host who has spiky blond hair and an ebullient persona, shows how to prepare restaurant-style meals in your home with simple techniques. Chef Burrell was a student and worked at the top New York restaurants. He was also a part of Iron Chef America and the culinary landscape of Italy. Burrell was born within New York State's Upstate, discovered a love of cooking. The Culinary Institute of America has sparked her interest in the management of restaurants after she graduated with an English/Communications degree at Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America is a wonderful adventure. I just couldn't get enough out of it. Following graduation from the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners, chef Burrell took a full year in Italy learning and working in La Taverna del Lupo restaurant in Umbria as well La Bottega del 30 one Michelin rating in Tuscany. When she was in Italy, Chef Burrell gained an appreciation and knowledge of Italian food. It made a huge effect on the way she thinks about food. Burrell is a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which helps brighten children who are facing difficulties. She also serves as an Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation celebrity ambassador where she is an advocate for children with diabetes and awareness. As a speaker, she makes trips across the country to talk about her love of food and her culinary career. Anne declared that she felt fortunate in that she could share her true passion with other people.
