Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan is Founding Co-Artistic Director of the new theater company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director for Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) between 2014 and 2019. She has been an actor and board member of SSC since 2011. When she was the Artistic Director of SSC she also served as SSC's costume designer, producer composer/music director and text coach. Although she was usually the leader of her ensembles the first time she was directing was as part of SSC King Lear. Other roles include the game show series that she appearances. She is the daughter of scientist Richard F. Post and his poet wife Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her siblings. Las Lomas High School was where she took classes and played soccer. She briefly attended Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. Post was married prior the wedding to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross has been her husband and co-writer from 1982. They share two daughters. Post's work as an actor, wife and mother is admired by many.
